DockMaster pricing (2026): what's published, what review sites claim, and what to ask
By Mason Bennett, boat dealership GM. Published Oct 27, 2026. Prices and contract terms checked Oct 27, 2026.
DockMaster doesn't publish a price. Review sites do. Here's what DockMaster's own site and contract say, what the review sites claim, and what I'd ask before signing. Everything below links to its source. Checked Oct 27, 2026.
Short answer
- DockMaster has no pricing page. Its site sends you to Contact Sales, and dockmaster.com/pricing returns a 404 (checked Oct 27, 2026).
- Capterra and Software Advice list a starting price of $165 "per feature, per month." That figure isn't on DockMaster's site, and neither listing says what a "feature" is. Treat it as unverified. Source
- DockMaster's public Master Service Agreement does spell out the contract: your hosted monthly rate is locked for 12 months, can go up once a year after that with 60 days' notice, the agreement auto-renews in 12-month terms unless you give notice 120 days before it ends, and the minimum is 4 licenses. What DockMaster is
DockMaster calls itself "all-in-one marina management software trusted by 1,000+ marinas, boatyards, and marine dealerships." It covers slips and storage, service, boat sales, inventory, point of sale, payments and accounting. Those are the vendor's words and numbers. (DockMaster)
It comes as DockMaster Desktop, DockMaster Web and DockMaster Mobile. The MSA says it's sold mainly as hosted software, and "on a limited basis" as an on-premise install. (DockMaster MSA)
For a dealer, the draw is service and storage. If you run a big service department, a yard or rack storage next to your sales floor, DockMaster is built for that side of the business.
What DockMaster's own pages say about cost
There's no price list, but the contract documents on DockMaster's site tell you how billing works. From the Master Service Agreement (DockMaster MSA):
- Fees come from your Order Form. "The Fees are based on options selected by Client and listed on the Order Form." So the price depends on which modules you pick.
- Rate lock. "For Hosted Services, the monthly SaaS Rate shall be guaranteed for the first twelve (12) months." After that, DockMaster "reserves the right to increase the SaaS Rate annually" with at least 60 days' written notice before a renewal term.
- Auto-renewal. After the initial term, the agreement renews for 12 months at a time "unless either party provides written notice to the other at least one hundred twenty (120) days prior to the expiration."
- Minimum size. "The minimum number of supported licenses or units is four (4)."
- Cutting licenses. On standard per-license pricing, you can add licenses any time at then-current prices, but you can only reduce them at the end of a term, with the same notice period.
- Payment. Invoices are due in 30 days. Support fees are due in advance. Late invoices carry 1.5% a month interest.
- On-site work. If DockMaster works on site, you pay actual travel, living and out-of-pocket costs.
- Upgrades. Hosted customers get general updates at no extra cost, but not "updates containing new or different functionality for which DockMaster charges separately."
- Leaving. After termination, DockMaster makes your data available for export for 30 days, then may delete it.
DockMaster's Implementation Agreement (last updated Sept. 30, 2026) adds that late documents can push back your go-live date, and "any changes to the Go Live logistics that result in price changes will be billed to the customer." (DockMaster Implementation Agreement)
What the review sites claim
- Capterra shows a "Starting price $165, Per Feature, Per Month" and a "Basic $165.00" plan. It rates DockMaster 3.9 out of 5 from 18 reviews, with 3.8 for value for money. The listing says it was last updated Oct 19, 2026. (Capterra)
- Software Advice shows the same "$165.00 per feature, per month" with "No plan information available." (Software Advice)
Neither site says where the $165 came from, what counts as a feature, or when it was set. DockMaster doesn't publish it. Use it as a reason to ask, not as a quote.
The AI add-on
DockMaster lists two AI features: an AI Scheduling Assistant in DockMaster Web that recommends technician assignments, and the Blu Voice Agent, which answers calls 24/7 and can book slips, build service estimates and send them for e-signature. (DockMaster, Blu Voice Agent)
Blu is built by BluSynq. DockMaster's page doesn't list a price for it. BluSynq's own site lists plans from $119 a month (after-hours only) to $649 a month, billed annually (checked Oct 20, 2026). Those are BluSynq's direct prices. Ask DockMaster whether they apply when you buy Blu through DockMaster. (BluSynq)

Questions to ask on a DockMaster quote
- Features. If the price is per feature, what's a feature? List every module on the Order Form with its monthly price.
- Licenses. How many licenses or units am I paying for, and is it per-license or a tier? The minimum is 4.
- Year two. The rate is locked for 12 months. Will you cap the annual increase after that, in writing?
- Renewal notice. The MSA wants 120 days' notice to cancel. Put the exact cancel-by date on the Order Form so nobody misses it.
- Initial term. How long is the first term? The MSA leaves that to the Order Form.
- Implementation. What do data conversion, training and go-live cost, and is on-site travel billed on top?
- Payments and Blu. Does the price assume DockMaster Payments? What does Blu cost through DockMaster?
- Leaving. You get 30 days to export after termination. In what format, and does it cost anything?
My take
No published price is normal in this category. What's useful here is that DockMaster's contract is public, and it tells you more than a price would. The rate is locked for one year, renewal is automatic, and the cancel window closes 120 days early. Get the per-module price, the initial term and a cap on year-two increases in writing before you sign.
If you run DockMaster and will share what you actually pay, send it in. I'll publish it anonymously, labeled as one dealer's report.
